As I'm a new inductee to the Etsy Twitter Team, which helps promote Etsy shops, part of the benefits of our team is that we promote shops in many different forums, including our personal blogs. I have to say that this is going to be pretty easy to do, because the shop we're promoting this week is FABULOUS! Beth's makes hand bound books and is currently focusing on books for weddings and other special events. They all have a beautifully elegant touch to them that I love! The journal (image on the left) is one of my favorites from her shop, and I could see myself using one of these to write down some of my most personal thoughts (as I'm a fairly avid journaler) in one of these beautiful creations.

Beth has an undergraduate degree in studio art and a Masters in Art Therapy. She has studied everything from paper arts to jewelry design, collage and pottery. She is a self-taught book artist and has been making books since around 2003.
Recently she worked with the Grammy Award winning rock band, The Fray, to create a backstage guest book for their 2009 summer tour. You can view her portfolio at flickr.com/photos/uberart.
